Area Rug Cleaning Service
Our Process
At Green T services, we believe in being both thorough and effective in our cleaning methods, which is why we have the best Area Rug Cleaning Service! We conveniently pick up and drop-off customers’ area rugs, and our cleaning method is certainly extensive. Our process for area rug cleaning involves two different approaches to ensure a proper clean. First, we start with Rugbadger technology, and then, follow up with hot water extraction.
What Kinds of Area Rugs Can We Clean?
Woven rugs are delicate, as they may have weaves and fringes that could be damaged by machines such as vacuum cleaners and traditional rug washers. In fact, woven rugs can shrink if not washed properly! However, using the RugBadger, we have specific protocols for cleaning woven rugs that ensure no damage or shrinking occurs with this delicate material.
For instance, materials that tend to pill and fuzz if not appropriately maintained make up synthetic rugs. Green T can clean synthetic rugs, whether they’re rayon, nylon, polyester, or a blend. Our Area Rug Cleaning Service can brush the carpet without ruining the fibers, thus providing a safe clean.
Exotic rugs are very luxurious and thus often contain highly pigmented dyes. Rugs like these need to be cleaned very carefully, in order to not ruin the rug. However, Green T uses methods and cleaners that are very gentle and safe for even the most colorful and luxurious area rugs.
What is RugBadger Technology, and Why is it Better?
RugBadger technology is industry-leading for cleaning methods. In fact, Badger, which stands for Bug, Allergen, Dirt & Grit Extractor for Rug renovating, is specially made for area rug cleaning. The treatment is specialized, so different techniques are used for different kinds of rugs, depending on manufacturer and material. The machine is safe for all types of rugs, including delicate kinds such as hand-woven and synthetic rugs. It uses 40,000 vibrations per minute to completely separate heavy debris and dirt from the rug, while being gentle enough for even the most delicate rugs.
The best part of the RugBadger cleaning is that customers can test how effective it is! The 6-second cleaning test involves turning the rug over and beating it for 6 seconds, then seeing if there’s any debris that comes out. If not, then it passes the test. A RugBadger cleaning can pass the 6-second test, no contest!
What is Hot Water Extraction, and Why is it Better?
For the second part of our process, we use the hot water extraction method. First, this method uses water heated to around 250 degrees Fahrenheit to steam the carpet. Our machines then send a mix of hot water and cleaning solution deep into the carpet to loosen the debris stuck in the fibers. Finally, a strong vacuum sucks up the hot water solution and removes the dust and debris from the carpet.
Our machines get hotter than most other cleaners, which is essential as any temperature less than 213 degrees won’t be hot enough to clean and sanitize carpets. The water’s hot temperature helps lift stains and dislodge debris while sanitizing the surface as it cleans. Furthermore, our hot water extraction method is environmentally friendly! Our Area Rug Cleaning Service can help to bring the carpet to life.
Green T Services makes your home sparkle again by bringing your area rugs back to life!
Benefits of Area Rug Cleaning Service
Compared to a carpet, rugs are easy to overlook. Because they can be rolled up and moved, they may seem like they are lower maintenance. However, area rugs still need the same level of care as carpets. Here’s why:
Appearance
When an area rug starts to look a bit dingy, it may be difficult to notice. Because homeowners see the rug every day, they may not notice the progression as dirt and dust collect in the fibers. Routine cleaning will keep customers’ rugs fresh without waiting for them to look especially dirty.
Make an Area Rug Last Longer
Area rugs can be costly! Depending on factors such as size, material, and maker of an area rug, it can be very pricey. Don’t let area rugs deteriorate quickly due to dirt and debris. By keeping up deep cleaning, area rugs will look good and last for years to come.
Clean Deeper
Vacuuming and beating a rug are good ways to keep it clean. But, this is a lot of work, and it won’t leave rugs 100% clean. Because fibers trap dirt and debris deep down, and spills can create stains, proper rug maintenance can be tricky. Therefore, clean deeper with a professional service.
Stay Safe
Rugs can trap all kinds of allergens, especially dust, dander, and pet hair. This quality is harmful, and especially so to children! Don’t breathe in air that will make everyone sick. Get area rugs professionally cleaned, so you can stay safe at home.
Avoid Bad Smells
Rugs can trap bad smells very quickly. Whether it’s a spill that dried but wasn’t cleaned, a bit of food trapped in the fibers, a pet shedding daily, or something tracked in the house on a pair of shoes; rugs can quickly take on a bad smell. Don’t let a smelly area rug ruin the ambiance of the home. Get it cleaned professionally.
